Bannock Brae Crawford's Block Pinot Noir 2019
The palate is much more powerful than the lovely nose suggests with silky tannins and ripe red fruit with acidity that gives the wine a long and fresh finish. This wine has a presence that tells of a place and a season. Understated at first, it continues to open up and seduce as each layer unfolds.
Deep dark cherry and blackberry aromas lifted by violets and a hint of vanilla. Textural, with earth and leathery notes and a touch of spice.
