Organic Adzuki Beans

Small ruby-red beans with a mild, nutty flavour for soups, curries, grain bowls and traditional East Asian desserts.

SpiceBloom Organic Adzuki Beans are whole dried beans with a distinctive red colour and a pleasantly mild flavour. Once cooked, they become tender while retaining enough structure for salads, rice bowls, soups and slow-simmered dishes.

Their versatile flavour works in both savoury and sweet recipes. Cook them with vegetables, tomatoes and spices, or prepare them with sugar according to your chosen recipe for sweet bean fillings and desserts.

Can adzuki beans be used in sweet recipes?

Yes. Their mild flavour suits sweet bean fillings and desserts as well as soups, curries and savoury rice dishes.

What texture do adzuki beans have when cooked?
