Traditional Japanese Bamboo Chasen (Matcha Whisk)

Make the perfect matcha with a chasen, a traditional Japanese bamboo whisk. Chasens have been used for 600 years to blend matcha with water, enhancing the flavour and removing any clumps for a silky smooth cup of green energy. 

For The Perfect Cup: Soak your chasen in warm water for a few seconds to soften the bamboo bristles and prevent breakage. Add matcha and a little warm water (not boiling) to your cup and move the chasen briskly in a zig-zag motion to blend. Add your steamed milk of choice and enjoy!
